Updated to Version 6!

Welcome to Version 6 of Adventures In The Unknown!

Nothing rules-wise has changed in this version of the game. I've been working on some additional setting material to expand the Cthulhu Cult in the game, and I decided to add this to the core game rather than do it in a supplement. I also added some more GM guidance for playing games like this that are lighter on the rules. There are no new or changed game mechanics in this update, all of this falls under additional guidance for the game. I think that it is important for designers to give an idea of how they think their games should be run. Even if they encourage groups to ignore all of their advice.

Lastly, I have had the rights to my Action-Heroes RPG returned to me by Outland Entertainment. They cited the economic uncertainty in tabletop publishing as the reason to return the rights earlier than we had all expected. I get it, it is a rough time out there. It is a shame because the game has always sold well. I thank the folks at Outland Entertainment for their help in getting Action-Heroes created and out in front of people. But, because of my now self-publishing this game as well, I decided that I would convert a couple of that game's iconic characters to Adventures In The Unknown. You don't have to buy that game to utilize these two new characters in your games, but I would appreciate the support in these tough times.

This is probably the last update to this game (of course I've said that before). I am planning on uploading this to DriveThru soon, and eventually offering a print version of the game through that site. More on that as we get there!
