Happy Holidays And Slight Update

Happy Holidays!

I want to thank you all for buying Adventures In The Unknown. I am very proud of my work with this game, and I am hoping that you will enjoy playing the game. As those of you who follow me on Bluesky know I am planning in the coming months to put up a print copy of the game on Lulu, and as I was going through the file I found a couple of things that needed fixing. Hopefully this will be the last update of the file.

I am working on a supplement for the game called Adventures In The Liminal. When I first started on this game, I wanted it to be an action horror game before I pivoted to making it more about fighting fascists. You can still see some of my action horror ideas in places like the Willpower roll appendix, and of course the use of the Cthulhu Cult. Adventures In The Liminal will also have a section for converting between this game and Goblin Archive's Liminal Horror game. I think that Liminal Horror is the freshest approach to horror role-playing, and if you haven't checked it out you should. It is available here on itch and at DriveThru in PDF.

After that, I don't know.  My goal with Adventures In The Unknown was to make a small, easy to play game, so I don't really want to toss a bunch of new material on top of what I have already written. I have an idea for some cyberpunk material, but I haven't decided if I want to do that as a supplement or a standalone game yet. It will probably depend on how much material I end up making for the game.

I want to again thank you all for supporting my work as an independent queer game designer. These next few years are going to be rough on us, so I think that supporting LGBTQ+ voices is going to be even more important than it has been before now. If you can, please tell your friends about my little game.
